Today the mansion is referred to Playboy Mansion West and is located at 10236 Charing Cross Rd., Beverly Hills, Ca. The mansion has a large number of rooms including a wine cellar, game room, private zoo, aviary, tennis courts, a waterfall, large swimming pool, barbecue area, a grotto and a bathhouse. It became famous in the 1970s because of the infamous parties that Hugh Hefner would throw. The Mansion is the only private residence in the city of Los Angeles with a permit for fireworks which made those parties even cooler. The Playboy Mansion it's also well known for the famous "Elvis Suite", where according to Hefner himself, Elvis Presley spent the night taking to bed with him no less than 8 girls. Most people that make it into the mansion are well-known celebrities.
