What is the key to becoming Hugh Hefner?

As a female, I became very intrigued by how young and attractive women flock to Hugh Hefner at the Playboy mansion. Many people imagine the women of Playboy being bimbos in  Playboy bunny costumes; however, contrary to popular belief, many of these women are intelligent.

As a female and a psychology major, I began to analyze Hugh Hefner from a psychological perspective in attempts to understand just how he is able to maintain a "harem" of highly attractive females. What also surprises me is how Hugh Hefner can remain in positive relations with women he dated in the past.

1. Hugh Hefner respects women: Even if you're a feminist, anyone can observe Hugh Hefner and see that he directly treats women with respect. He never says anything degrading or demeaning about women. According to E! True Hollywood Story, he claims to have been monogamous during his marriages.

2. Hugh Hefner listens to women: Even if Hugh Hefner is busy, he undoubtedly makes time to listen to women. He provides his full attention to women when they are speaking to him even if she is making a seemingly trivial comment.

3. Hugh Hefner makes women feel secure: Hugh Hefner creates a sense of security for women, by catering to their needs. Of course, he has a lot of money to spare, but he always makes sure that women in his life are well cared for.

Essentially, Hugh Hefner fulfills women's basic needs: respect, understanding, and security.
